Rep. Comer was elected to Congress in 2016, representing Kentucky’s 1st Congressional District. Previously, he served in the Kentucky House of Representatives for six terms, where he was named the National Republican Freshman Legislator of the Year. In 2011, he was elected to serve as the state commissioner of agriculture.
