Ms. Mahoney is a partner in the Washington, D.C., law firm of Latham & Watkins, where she heads the appellate practice. She served as deputy solicitor general from 1991 to 1993 and has argued numerous cases before the Supreme Court. Prior to joining the firm, she clerked with then-Justice William H. Rehnquist.
