Gerald F. Uelmen, Counsel of RecordFamilies to Amend California’s Three Strikes, begun in 1996, is a California-based organization dedicated to reforming California’s Three Strikes law. Congress of California Seniors, established in 1977, is a nonprofit advocacy organization whose goal is to improve the quality of life for seniors and their families. Members of both groups have family who have been sentenced under the Three Strikes law. Gerald F. Uelmen is a professor at Santa Clara University School of Law, where he served as dean from 1986 to 1994. He received his law degree from Georgetown University in 1965. The following…
