Thomas M. Fisher, Counsel of Record   On April 7, 2005, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels signed a bill requiring voters to show photographic identification prior to casting ballots in that State’s elections. The law included provisions for the indigent and religious objectors to cast provisional ballots that could be certified within 10 days at a county courthouse, and an exception was made for residents of State-licensed nursing homes.
