It’s been 25 years since the United Kingdom and the Argentine
Republic went to war in the South Atlantic over control of the Falkland
Islands. More than 900 people died in the Falklands War, including 655
Argentines, 255 British troops, and three Falkland Islanders. The
British lost six ships and 34 aircraft, while Argentina lost four
ships, a submarine, and 99 aircraft. Since that time, there has been
