Ambassador Ruhakana Rugunda
Uganda has been a member of the UN since October 25, 1962. Its two-year term as an elected member of the UN Security Council expires on December 31, 2010. Ruhakana Rugunda has served as Uganda’s Permanent Representative to the UN since February 2009.
