NCTO is a trade group representing the U.S. fiber, yarn, fabric, and textile industries. The following is excerpted from September 15, 2010, testimony before the House Ways and Means Committee on China’s Exchange Rate Policy. NCTO represents the domestic textile industry, an industry whose survival is dependent on the development of strong export markets, and as such, NCTO strongly supports the president’s National Export Initiative (NEI).
