On March 16, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry (MA-D) convened a hearing on “Sudan and South Sudan: Independence and Insecurity.” Panelists discussed the current economic and humanitarian situation in the two states and ways to encourage a peaceful end to the current conflict.
