NCN is a grassroots organization started in 2013. It launched Enlace Academy on the west side of Indianapolis in 2013 and Kindezi Academy on the east side of Indianapolis in 2016. Kevin Kubacki has served as Executive Director of NCN since 2016. He is a former teacher and school leader.
