Charles Fried

Charles Fried has taught at Harvard Law School since 1961. From 1985 to 1989, he was Solicitor General of the United States, and from 1995 to 1999, he was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. He has taught courses on appellate advocacy, commercial law, constitutional law, contracts, criminal law, Federal courts, labor law, torts, legal philosophy, and medical ethics.
