Roy L. Reardon, Counsel of Record Casey Martin suffers from a circulatory condition called Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber Syndrome, which makes walking for extended periods extremely painful. Despite this condition, Martin is an accomplished golfer — using a cart for transportation between his shots. Following his graduation from Stanford University, where he played collegiate golf, Martin entered Qualifying (Q) School, a series of competitions to earn the right to compete in Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour tournaments.
