She lived with the father of the children, Brad Troxel, off and on between 1988 and 1991 before breaking off the relationship. Troxel then lived with his parents and continued to see the children until he committed suicide in 1993. Following Troxel’s death, Granville allowed the father’s parents, Jenifer and Gary Troxel, to visit with their grandchildren. After she remarried, however, she felt they were being too intrusive and attempted to limit the amount of time they spent with Isabelle and Natalie. The Troxels filed suit…
