Airline Passenger Rights Legislation
In the 107th Congress, supporters of enhanced airline passenger rights have begun introducing legislation that draws significantly on legislation proposed during the last Congress. In the first months of the 106th Congress, a number of bills, referred to collectively in the press as "airline passenger bill of rights bills," were introduced in both the House and Senate. Their introduction followed close on the heels of a dramatic event.
