United States Senator, Missouri, Republican

Senator Bond was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986. He served as Missouri Assistant Attorney General from 1969 to 1970, as Missouri Auditor from 1970 to 1972, and as Governor of Missouri from 1972 to 1976 and from 1980 to 1984. He is Chairman of the Small Business Committee and serves on the Budget Committee, the Environment and Public Works Committee, and the Appropriations Committee, on which he chairs the Subcommittee on VA, HUD, and Independent Agencies.
