GAO is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. Often called the “congressional watchdog,” GAO investigates how the Federal Government spends taxpayer dollars. Gerald Dillingham is responsible for directing program evaluations and policy analyses related to all aspects of civilian aviation.
