Representative Nadler was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1992. He served as a Legislative Assistant in the New York Assembly in 1972, and as a member of the New York Assembly from 1976 to 1992. He is a member of the Judiciary Committee and Ranking Minority Member of the Commercial and Administrative Law Subcommittee within that committee.
