Shaun McCutcheon is CEO of Coalmont Electrical Development Corp. and a Republican Party activist who regularly donates money to conservative candidates and causes. During the 2012 election cycle, Federal law limited him to donating $123,200 to a combination of candidates, political committees affiliated with State or national political parties, and non-affiliated political committees. McCutcheon wished to donate more than that amount, however.
