Commissioner Stavros Dimas
All 27 member nations of the European Union are parties to the UNFCCC and have formally ratified the Kyoto Protocol. Stavros Dimas has served as the European Commissioner for the Environment since November 2004. Prior to that, he held numerous positions within the Greek government.
