The following summarizes the major provisions of H.R. 3162, the Children’s Health and Medicare Protection (CHAMP) Act, which passed the full House on August 1, 2007. Protecting Children’s Health Ensures States Will Have Predictable Funding Streams that Track Projected Children’s Health Needs.
