The following is her minority view statement included in the June 16, 2025, Report of the Committee on Appropriations on the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2026. The Fiscal Year 2026 Defense Appropriations Act totals $831.5 billion. Though the bill is equal to the fiscal year 2025 enacted level, we have deep concerns about how the bill will impact our military’s readiness since the bill repeats, yet again, the same mistakes as the fiscal year 2024 and 2025 House proposals….
