When a home is a place of violence, residents are vulnerable to losing their housing through eviction, coercion, or abuse. Today, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) finalized a new rule to protect the housing of survivors of domestic and dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
