Infrastructure Package
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (CA-D) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (NY-D) have met with President Trump to discuss upgrading the Nation’s infrastructure, including roads, bridges, airports, water distribution networks, energy grids, broadband, and other critical projects. The question is how much money will be budgeted to help repair. After the meeting, Pelosi and Schumer told reporters that $2 trillion would be budgeted. Legislators on both side of the aisle have long agreed that the Nation’s public works need repair and modernization.
