Honorable Kevin Brady

Rep. Brady represents the 8th Congressional District of Texas. Prior to joining Congress in 1997, he worked as a chamber of commerce executive for 18 years and was a member of the state legislature for six years. He is known as a pro-family and pro-small business conservative. When he was chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee in 2017, he helped to author and pass major tax reform legislation, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. He is the current ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over a number of policy issues, including tax policy, health care and trade.
