The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids advocates for public policies that prevent kids from smoking, help smokers quit, and protect everyone from secondhand smoke. Matthew Myers helped to found the organization in 1996. He began his tobacco control work in 1980, when he joined the Federal Trade Commission and was responsible for the agency’s tobacco-related activity. He late joined the Coalition on Smoking OR Health, first as Staff Director and then as General Counsel.
