Florida and Alabama are joined in this brief by 20 other states and the Arizona legislature. The following is excerpted from the Amicus Curiae Brief in Support of Applicant as submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court on Sept. 25, 2025. As the government explains, the court of appeals erred on the merits. But in granting a preliminary injunction, the court also erred on the remedy.
