Representative Price, of the Fourth District of North Carolina, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. He previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1986 to 1994. He served as Executive Director of the North Carolina Democratic Party from 1979 to 1980 and Chairman from 1983 to 1984, and as Staff Director of the Democratic National Committee’s Committee on Presidential Nominations from 1981 to 1982.
