Letter to President Obama
The Flag & General Officers for the Military project was organized for the purpose of showing support for the 1993 law regarding homosexuals in the military. On March 30, 2009, the Flag & General Officers for the Military sent the following open letter expressing support for the 1993 law to President Barack Obama and Members of Congress. The letter was accompanied by the signatures of 1,050 flag and general officers from all branches of the service.
