Mark D. Olson, Counsel of RecordJenifer and Gary Troxel are the grandparents of Natalie and Isabelle Granville. Following the suicide of their son, Brad, the children’s mother, Tommie, decided to limit the amount of time the Troxels could spend with Natalie and Isabelle. The Troxels filed suit under Washington State law for a court visitation order granting them time with the children. On May 8, 1995, the Washington Superior Court judge ruled that the Troxels should be allowed monthly visits with the children and a week-long visit during the summer.
