Established in 1972, the NACAA is the national association representing the interests of 1,000 community action agencies organized to fight poverty at the local level. Its mission is to be a national forum for policy on poverty and to strengthen, promote, represent, and serve its network of member agencies to ensure that the issues of the poor are effectively heard and addressed.
