Representative Andrews, of the First District of New Jersey, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1990. He served on the Camden County (New Jersey) Board of Chosen Freeholders from 1987 to 1990. He sits on the Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Education and the Workforce, where he is the Ranking Minority Member of the Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions.
