Representative Young, Alaska’s Representative-at-Large, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1973. He served on the Fort Yukon City Council for six years, serving four years as Mayor. He was a Member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 1966 to 1970 and a Member of the Alaska Senate from 1970 to 1973. He is Chairman of the Resources Committee and a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
