The following is excerpted from the Amicus Curiae Brief for Respondents as submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court on Aug. 3, 2026. Throughout their opening brief, petitioners incorrectly state that greenhouse gas emissions cannot be traced to their sources, and that the climate change harms affecting Boulder cannot be attributed to those sources.
