David Earl Honig, Counsel of RecordFounded in 1925, with a membership of over 17,000, the National Bar Association is the Nation’s oldest and largest association of predominantly African American lawyers and judges. Its stated purpose is to protect the civil and political rights of all U.S. citizens. David Earl Honig has been in private practice specializing in communications and civil rights law since 1983. In 1986, he cofounded the Minority Media and Telecommunications Council. He received his law degree in 1983 from Georgetown University Law Center.
