OnApril 12, 2006, U.S. Trade Representative Rob Portman and Peruvian Minister ofForeign Trade and Tourism Alfredo Ferrero Diez Canseco signed the U.S.-PeruTrade Promotion Agreement (PTPA). On January 6, 2006, President George W.
