Recent Action on the Employee Free Choice Act

The Employee Free Choice Act, a top legislative priority for organized labor, was introduced in three consecutive Congresses (the 108th through the 110th) but has yet to win final approval. The measure is expected to be reintroduced again in the current 111th Congress, and groups on both sides have stepped up their advocacy efforts.
