Declaration Against the Coup
The following is excerpted from a statement signed by 20 members of the Honduran National Congress on August 24, 2009. FIRST: We affirm our unconditional loyalty to the principles and values of the Glorious Liberal Party of Honduras, to the Constitution of the Republic, and to our system of government, democratic, republican, representative, and participatory.
