Honorable Rosa DeLauro

Rep. DeLauro, first elected in 1990, represents Connecticut’s 3rd Congressional District. Prior to joining Congress, she served as the first executive director of EMILY’s List, a national organization that supports women running for elected office. She was also the chief of staff for former U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn). She chairs the Committee on Appropriations and the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations Subcommittee (Labor-HHS) in the 117th Congress.
