Senator Lee was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2010. He served as an assistant U.S. attorney from 2002 to 2005, as counsel to Utah Governor Jon Huntsman from 2005 to 2006, and as law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito from 2006 to 2007.
