Ambassador Omar Manis
Sudan joined the United Nations on November 12, 1956. Sudan last served on the Commission on Human Rights from 2000 to 2006. Omar Manis is Sudan’s deputy permanent representative to the UN and has served as acting chargé d’affaires since October 5, 2005.
