Proposed Shifts in Foreign Aid
The Obama Administration’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2013 budget request for foreign assistance pares back aid to Europe and Pakistan, reduces some spending on global health and humanitarian programs, and adds support for democratic transitions taking place in the Middle East and North Africa.
