Representative Wolf, of the Tenth District of Virginia, was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1980. He was Assistant to the U.S. Secretary of the Interior from 1971 to 1974 and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Interior from 1974 to 1975. He serves on the Appropriations Committee and chairs the Transportation Subcommittee within that committee.
