Representative Hulshof, of the Ninth District of Missouri, was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996. He was Assistant Public Defender for the 32nd Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri from 1983 to 1986, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, Cape Girardeau, from 1986 to 1989, and Special Prosecutor for the Missouri Attorney General from 1989 to 1996.
