The Health Insurance Association of America is a trade association representing the private health care system. Its more than 300 members provide health, long-term care, dental, disability, and supplemental coverage to more than 123 million Americans. It is also provides self-study courses on health insurance and managed care. Before joining HIAA, Dean Rosen worked as a congressional staff member, including as health counsel for Senator Nancy Landon Kassebaum (KS-R).
