Recent Action by Congress on Repealing Obamacare
On March 23, 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or Obamacare. The new law, the most significant health care overhaul since the creation of Medicare and Medicaid, sought to provide coverage to the uninsured and improve health care access and delivery.
