Stephen J. Safranek, Counsel of RecordMissouri Term Limits was the local organization responsible for drafting the language of the Missouri term limits identification amendment. It also circulated petitions to get the amendment on the 1996 Missouri ballot and actively supported its passage. Stephen J. Safranek is an assistant professor at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School, where he teaches civil procedure, constitutional law, contracts, and the Fourteenth Amendment.
