To ensure the Nation’s future economic security and prosperity, the task force requires lawmakers to swiftly address the Nation’s long-term fiscal challenges. The Act establishes a bipartisan task force of congressional Members and Administration officials who will make bipartisan recommendations on how to substantially improve the government’s long-term fiscal imbalances. All options will be considered by the task force.
