Michael Davidson, Counsel of Record Senators Byrd, Moynihan, and Levin initially filed suit over the constitutionality of the Line Item Veto Act, but the Supreme Court held that they did not have standing. Mr. Davidson served as chief counsel to Senators Byrd, Moynihan and Levin during the litigation on the constitutionality of the Line Item Veto Act. He currently is co-director of the Aspen Institutes’s Campaign Finance Reform Project. He graduated from the University of Chicago Law School in 1964.
