Babcock, Counsel of RecordMexico filed an amicus brief in this case because Moises Sanchez-Llamas is a Mexican citizen who was not informed that he had a right to meet with Mexican consular officials following his arrest in the United States. Sandra L. Babcock is director of the Mexican Capital Legal Assistance Program, an organization funded by Mexico to assist Mexican nationals facing the death penalty in the United States.
